Dear all, we are sad to announce that we will no longer be opening for the season on Sunday.
Thank you to all of you who have supported us at Garden Kitchen - we loved serving each and every one of you. Like every other business out there, we will be back with more energy and enthusiasm for what we do best: serving delicious food with a smile.
Please keep safe and well.
Follow all the guidelines and let's hope for plenty of sunshine to keep spirits high. We will be posting a few recipes during this period for you try at home if you're up for the challenge!

It's bye for now, not forever. Enjoy a Happy Mother's Day and Easter as best as you can.

Dear Customers,

These are tricky times indeed, but we wanted to assure you that we are currently going ahead with our Mother’s Day afternoon tea on Sunday, but with some changes in place for everyone’s comfort and safety. We are keeping a close eye on all Government advice and will update you should plans change.

The same promised food will now be served in cardboard take-away boxes rather than on the tiered plates. This will give you the freedom to choose where you eat your meal. You are welcome into our cosy cart shed, but we will also have the hay barn and the courtyard open too. Sunday will be sunny, if not a little chilly so by all means bring blankets, dress warm and enjoy our surroundings as if it was the summer! Rest assured that there will be plenty of space between guests. If you’d prefer to take your afternoon tea back to the comfort of your home, then you are welcome to do so.
We are aware that there are many elderly people in isolation. If you would like to make them feel less isolated and provide a treat, then we can prepare afternoon teas in advance for them on Sunday. Please phone us to order in advance.

Our priority is to keep everyone safe and to bring happiness in this uncertain time. If you have booked and your circumstances change then please let us know if you are able to do so

Join us this Mother’s Day at Garden Kitchen between 12 and 4pm for a quintessential afternoon tea. Served on our beautiful vintage tea stands, everyone will be lavished with a selection of sandwiches, our finest homemade sausage rolls, cheese scones, fruit scones with jam and cream, mini lemon meringue pies, chocolate brownies and a gingerbread mum! £14pp with smaller kiddies’ platters available at £6.
